School Catalogue / "White Book"

The School Catalogue is a comprehensive guide to the organization and principles of studies at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Palacký University Olomouc in a particular academic year (information on courses, study plans, prerequisites, departments, state examinations, the Study and Examination Code, etc.). Formerly printed as a book with a white cover, the catalogue continues to be referred to as the “White Book”.

Course Evaluation

From the academic year 2018/2019 the evaluation of individual courses (i.e. course evaluation) is done electronically through Portal/STAG. (The results of the evaluation are available after login.)

Schedule of evaluation for the winter semester of the academic year 2023/2024

  • electronic course evaluation for students (i.e. filling out the questionnaires): from  September 25, 2023 to February 12, 2024
  • time for the lecturers to comment on students' remarks: from February 13, 2024 to February 29, 2024

Meals at the Palacký University Canteens

A wide range of hot meals featuring Czech and foreign cuisine is available in the university canteens. Pizza is baked to order to guarantee freshness. Apart from standard meals, there are always vegetarian or vegan and gluten-free meals as well. It is possible to choose between soups, various salads and desserts. The meal can also wrapped for take away.

Dining services are intended for students, university workers as well as the general public. There is something for everyone. You can also order meals in advance.

There are several Canteens available: Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, 17. listopadu, Neředín, Šmeralova, Křížkovského, Holice.

Housing

As a Palacký University employee you can take advantage of the possibility of favourable rental rates of several university-owned flats. These are flats in housing estates and brick flats of different dispositions in various locales throughout Olomouc (Nové Sady, Neředín, Jiřího z Poděbrad Street, etc.). This offer applies to employees who are permanently employed at UP.

You can take advantage of interesting and suitable short- and long-term accommodation at reduced prices in the dormitory on Vančurova Street. We offer accommodation in single and double rooms, equipped with sanitary facilities.

The UP Accommodation and Dining Services also provide accommodation for the public (visits, etc.).
